Wayne Wilson Culver, 63, of Creston died Tuesday night, June 2, 1987, at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Summitt Cemetery in Adams County. The Rev.Bob Pickerell, pastor of the 1st Christian Church, will officiate. Family will meet friends from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Larkin Funeral Home. Military rites will be conducted by Theodore J. Martens Post # 1797.
Culver was married June 1,1948 to Shirley Ann Bray in Prescott. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army in WW 2.
Survivors include a son, Randall [wife Margaret] Culver of Creston; 2 daughters Kay [Mrs. David] Eagle of Phoenix, Ariz. and Laurie [Mrs. Eugene]Ellington of Redmond, Wash.; 5 grandchildren; a brother Kenneth Culver of Alamo, Texas; a sister Frances [Mrs.Gene] Thompson of Greenfield and his parents-in-law Gene and Ila Bray of Prescott.
He was preceded in death by his wife on Jan. 17,1980, his parents and a brother Raymond Culver.
