Mary Louise Beck, 87, of San Antonio, Tx., passed away Sept. 1,2003 in San Antonio.
She was born Mary Louise Musmaker on Oct. 11,1915 in Greenfield, the daughter of George D. Musmaker and his wife, the former Mary Alice Girard.
She grew to womanhood in Greenfield and was united in marriage to Floyd Brown Beck of Orient on Nov.14,1940. The couple lived in Indianapolis, Ind., for several years before returning to Adair County to live on a farm between Fontanelle and Greenfield until the 1970s when they retired to McAllen, Tx. Shortly after the death of Floyd Beck in 1991, Mary Beck moved to San Antonio to be near her son Tom and brother Richard. In San Antonio, she was a resident of the Incarnate Word Retirement Center until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister Hazel, and brothers Lyle, Louis, George, Theo, Don and Richard.
She is survived by her son Larry Beck of Plano, Tx.; daughter Jane Beck of Denton, Tx.; sons Tom Beck of San Antonio, Tx., and Dan Beck of Parma, Ohio and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sept.3 at the retirement center chapel and interment was Sept. 4, beside her husband Floyd at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, Tx.
