Franklin L.Stewart 77, of Omaha, Neb., passed away Sept.24,2004.
He was born May 31,1927 at Fontanelle.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Audrey M. [Eddy] Stewart; son John L.Stewart and fiance Shiloh Rail of Omaha; brothers Gene and wife Eldeen Stewart of Greenfield and Pete and Roberta Stewart of Papillion, Neb.; sister Lois Haines of Jefferson; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services were held Tuesday Sept.28 at the Fontanelle Cemetery with the Rev.Jerry Hoff o9f the Fontanelle United Methodist Church officiating.
Music tribute was a recorded selection of "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes.
Pallbearers were John, Raymond, Pete,and Gene Stewart, Dick Cooper and Dean Wiggins.
Military honors were presented by the Fontanelle American Legion Carlson Post #247.
Professional arrangements were provided by Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home of Council Bluffs.
