Murell Z. Chambers, 63, of 2200 Stanton Avenue died of complications of cancer Friday (June 23, 1995) at Mercy Hospital Center (Des Moines, IA). Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Wakonda Christian Church of which he was a member. Burial will be at Greenfield Cemetery.

Mr. Chambers was born in Stuart and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He had worked direct sales for Sales Force of Des Moines and was a Korean War Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Delores; a son, Roger of Des Moines, a daughter, Ronda Wendt of Kansas City, Mo; two sisters Betty Forsyth of Winterset and Donell Skellenger of Greenfield, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
