“Charles Everett Paxton – Charles Everett, the only child of Charles Joseph and Eva Harris Paxton, was born June 2, 1909 in Prussia Township Adair County and passed away Nov. 28, 1975, in the Adair County memorial Hospital, Greenfield. He attended the rural schools and grew to manhood in his native community. Oct 1, 1936, Everett Paxton married Florence Funke. They began life together in Prussia Township and all of his years were spent farming in Adair County. Mrs. Paxton preceded him in death Dec. 10, 1967. He is survived by three sons and their families: Audrey and his wife Geraldine, and their five children Dee Ann, Donna Michale, Terry and Debra; Benjamin and his wife June and their three children Pam, Pat and Paul; Jerry and his wife Velda and their two children Rick and Tina” Dec 10, 1975 Free Press
