“Lloyd George Beaman – Lloyd George, son of George and Goldie Bakerink Beaman was born in Adair County, August 13, 1918 and passed way May 27, 1975 at his work. His life span covered a period of 56 years 9 months and 14 days. He attended the public schools and grew to manhood in his native county. With the exception of five years in Oklahoma he spent all his life in Adair County. In young manhood, Lloyd Beaman married Arlene Hein and they became the parents of two children, Richard and Beverly. His is survived by his son Richard in Jefferson and his daughter Beverly Hardy of Kansas City; three grandchildren four brothers: Ormie, Orient; Orris and Ralph, Perry; Robert, Stuart; one step sister Mrs. Dale (Margie) Crees, McGregor, Iowa; one step brother Arthur Bakerink, Creston; three aunts nieces nephews and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents the step mother one sister Gladys Marie and a step brother Gail Bakerink of California.” June 18, 1975 Adair County Free Press
