Died

In Union township, Adair county, January 9th, Mrs. Mary J. Hayden, wife of Joab Hayden, aged about 48 years. This is the third funeral that I have attended there this fall. Frank, their youngest son about 14 years of age, died October 4th. Then their oldest daughter, Mrs. S. A. Brooks, died December 7th, and now Mrs. Hayden the wife and mother. Mrs. Hayden was sick a long time with typhoid fever, suffered much, but died with a bright prospect for the future.
