Audra George "Audrey" was born in Greenfield, Iowa, on June 6, 1908. He received his formal education from the Greenfield Public School and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1926. He was united in marriage to Wilma Darlene "Jim" Schwab on March 1, 1930, in Bridgewater, Iowa, by her grandfather, Reverend G. T. Herrick.

While they lived in Greenfield, four children were born.

Vaughn Irene married Clarence L. "Andy" Anderson. They resided in South Dakota. Their children are Joan (Smith) and Jeffrey.

Donald Lee "Sam", deceased, married June Ellen Undem, deceased. Their children are Randall, Dale, and Dawn, deceased.

Peggy Anne "Peg" married Allen C. Webster. They live in Minnesota. Their children are Allen, Jr., Brian and Patrick.

Patsy Elaine "Pat" is married to John George "Jack" Kueber. They reside in North Dakota. Their children are Kathleen, Christopher, Jeffrey and Kyle.

Audrey and Wilma moved to Barnes County, North Dakota, in 1944 to farm. Audrey was also employed as a school bus operator before retiring. He passed away May 12, 1969 in Fargo, North Dakota, and buried in Memory Gardens in Valley City, North Dakota. Wilma married Dale Adkins, is divorced, and lives in Greenfield, Iowa.
