The 1920 Federal Census lists Miss Eva Whitcomb (1865-1923) at this address, denoted as the "Iowa Home for Sightless Women." Eva Whitcomb is listed as "Superintendent" with another lady at matron and 4 "inmates". This particular address appears to have been used for the home from 1915-1934.
