Lawrence relaxing in uniform -- 1943 PVT. WOOLWORTH SUFFERS WOUNDS IN GERMANY Pvt. Lawrence R. Woolworth, serving with an infantry division, was wounded October 20, 1944, in Germany, his wife, who resides at 3516 Parkview boulevard, has been informed in a telegram from the War Department. Pvt. Woolworth entered service in March, 1944, and went overseas in September, 1944. He is in a hospital in Paris, according to the telegram. ~Unknown newspaper source, issue dated 11/12/1944 |
