The Jackson County (IA) Genealogical Chapter has a large collection of information on file at the Library in the Clinton Engines Building at the intersection of Maple and Clark streets in Maquoketa, Iowa.
  • MEETINGS: Held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1 p.m. in the Clinton Engines Museum Library in Maquoketa. There are no meetings in January and February.
  • MEMBERSHIP: Yearly dues are $10.00 renewable January to January. All members will receive their quarterly newsletter, Genie Gems.
  • RESEARCH HOURS: Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. � 4:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday 12:00 p.m. � 4:00 p.m.
  • RESEARCH: Inquires will be answered through the Chapter at $10.00 per hour. Photocopies are an additional $ .25 each (Genie Members $ .10 each). Any trip to the County Courthouse will be an additional $10.00.

 

You are invited to submit your ANCESTOR CHARTS, FAMILY GROUP SHEETS, etc. It is through the joint efforts of the members that they are able to enlarge their files, so that they are better able to research and have the family information here for those who are looking for their JACKSON COUNTY ANCESTORS.
