Casey


Casey is located in Thompson Twp, and laid out in 1868 by Marshall and Weeks. The original plot contained 90 acres. Casey was named after Mr. Casey a respected railroad conductor and good friend of Mr. Tracy President of the C.R.I.&P. Railroad. The history of Casey is described in The Centennial History of Guthrie County by Sadie B. Maxwell (1876), pg. 103. (Offsite)
