This is to Certify, that Frank T.
Wernimont, Pt. A Co. 5th Rep.
Reg. 400527 is hereby DISCHARGED from the military
service of the UNITED STATES by reason of Insufficient
teeth.
Said Frank T. Wernimont was inducted into the service
from the jurisdiction of the Local Board of Dyersville,
Dubuque Co., State of Iowa, on the 26th day of July,
1918.
While this certificate discharges the person named herein
from his present obligation to serve in the Army, it does
not operate as a permanent bar to his subsequent entrance
into the military service. Under Section 5 of the Act of
May 18, 1917, all registered persons remain subject to
the draft unless exempted or excused as in that Act
provided. Therefore, this discharge does not excuse the
holder from obedience to the process of Exemption Boards.
Given at Camp Gordon, Ga, this 1st day of August, 1918.
