Zella and Jesse

Jesse and Zella Brown Burgus were married in December, 1940. Zella moved to Madison Township, Clarke County, in 1925. Jesse has lived in or near Murray all his life. While living in Murray, Jesse worked at Wetzel Garage, Burgus Garage, and Kimball Implement. He also served over three years in the U.S. army during that time. In 1949, he and his family moved to the farm. Their sons, Ronald, Rex, Dwight, and Larry, graduated from Murray Community School.
