Kenneth Schaff - a grandson of an early Clarke Co. and Murray resident - was born and raised in the Murray vicinity. The youngest of three sons of John and Anna (Smull) Schaff. He was raised on the farm. Was interested in learning to play the violin (fiddle) and the fundamentals of mechanx. He followed both thru his life.

Kenneth and Freda (Hess) Schaff have 4 sons. John married to Anna Maria Sylvia Smyth Adamson

of Dunoon, Scotland, and they are the parents of Scott, Catherine and little Kenneth. John is in the Navy, has served in U.S.A., Scotland, Guam and now currently in Vietnam. Jack, at home, has been in the service - 5 years in the Army with three years spent in Germany. Georgia. Larry - at home and a senior in Murray School.
