Samuel and Mary/Magla Sampson Family

Above, Lars and Johanna/Hannah Sampson Olsen and family. Johanna was the daughter of Samuel and Mary/Magla Sampson. Lars was a farmer in Cass County, Iowa. Lars and Johanna are buried in the Norway Center Cemetery with two of their children, Mary and Samuel. Samuel Sampson, Sr. is also buried in Norway Center Cemetery along with three of Johanna's brothers, Andrew, Jacob, and Peter, and younger sister, Mary. Mary's grave does not have a headstone, just a small cement marker indicating she died at age eleven. The location of Mary/Magla's grave is unknown.
Above, Samuel and Bertha Sampson, Jr. family, including Samuel and Bertha's children and their spouses, and grandchildren. Samuel Jr. was the son of Samuel and Mary/Magla Sampson. Labelling is from the back of the photo.
Samuel, Jr. and Bertha are buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Countil Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. The maiden name of Bertha is believed to be Nelson, although the name Nessa appears on one of her children's birth records.
