ADOLPH LANGFELDT was of German parentage and came to Marne from Davenport, Iowa. He was one of the original proprietors of the Marne Town Company. He came to Marne soon after the town was established in 1875 and built a house in town for himself. He bought and sold many parcels of town property in Marne in the early years.
