W. J. DEERING.

The News-Telegraph has known Mr. Deering for many years, and is glad to vouch for him as being an honorable, square dealing business man and as the best of fellows personally.

The Deering Hardware store is one of the landmarks on Chestnut street, and their references are any one you want to inquire of in their home town. W. J. is constantly on the alert for bargains in the hardware line and these he buys and in time sells to his constantly increasing list of customers at bargain prices.

He is a member of the Masons, Woodmen and an enthusiastic member of the Commercial Club. A picture of his residence appears elsewhere in this edition. Those who know this gentleman best know that every fibre of his being spells the word "hustle" and they also know that there is but one goal to which he will be satisfied, and that one on the top.
