Ethelyn Beman was my mother's sister. Actually half-sister. Her father Sid Stevens died when she was very young and her mother Sadie Underwood Stevens married my Grandfather, C. G, Cole and he raised Sis as Ethelyn was called along with his five other daughters. My mother did not know she was a half-sister until she was much older.
