Earl William Snow was born 3 April 1867 and died 1 May 1935 in Eagle Grove. He is buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Eagle Grove, Iowa. He was married to Minnie A. (Murray) Snow. She was born 11 December 1870 and died February 1975 in Polk County, Iowa. She is buried in Eagle Grove. Her parents were James Murray and Sarah (Baker) Murray. Their daughter, Thelma was the wife of Charles Walter Heisterman. She was born 11 October 1898 in Iowa and died January 1989 in Polk County, Iowa.

Conductor Earl Snow Dropped Dead at Eagle Grove May 1stEarl Snow of Eagle Grove, who for almost 40 years had been in the employ of the North Western Railway Company, died instantly last Wednesday, May 1st, when he collapsed while walking, along the street. He had been looking after numerous errands and he was going to his car when he suddenly threw up his arms and died instantly. Fred Griswold, another conductor of Eagle Grove, was with Mr. Snow at the time and he called for medical help but life was extinct when a. physician arrived. Mr. Snow was in his usual good health and had completed the alloted 5,500 miles during the month of April and was to go out on his regular run in the evening of the day when death claimed him. Mr. Snow formerly had a run into Hawarden and was well known here among railroad men and numerous other citizens who regret to learn of his sudden death. Mr. Snow, who was 62 years of age, entered the employ of the North Western Railway Company Aug. 6, 1895, as a freight brakeman and was promoted to conductor Jan. 28, 1906. At the time of his death he was No. 2 on the conductor's seniority list. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Walter Heisterman of Des Moines, and also one brother, who resides in Des Moines.

Earl Snow, 65, Veteran N.W. Conductor, Succumbs on Street.
EAGLE GROVE, May 2.—Earl Snow, 65, veteran Chicago and North Western passenger train conductor, dropped dead on the street, at the corner of the Paine block, Wednesday afternoon, evidently from a heart attack. He is survived by the widow in this city, and a married daughter in Des Moines. Employed by the railroad since 1895, he was the second oldest in seniority here.
