Ellen Evelyn Larson Amonson
20 November 1903 ---- 28 December 1978

Mrs. Ellen Evelyn Amonson, daughter of Lewis and Minnie Nelson Larson, was born Nov. 20, 1903, in Hamilton County. She received her education in Wright County.

On Dec. 4, 1924, Ellen was united in marriage with Miller Amonson of Eagle Grove. They were married at the Eagle Grove East Side Lutheran Church and made their home at Eagle Grove. Mr. Amonson died in 1961.

Mrs. Amonson died Thursday, Dec. 28, 1978, at the Northwest Hospital, Des Moines. She had been visiting her daughter when she became ill.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two brothers: Howard and Art; and one sister, Mabyl. Survivors include her daughter Elaine Anderson of Des Moines, three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Martin Larson of Eagle Grove; three sisters: Elsie Christopher and Irene Runner of Eagle Grove and Doris (Mrs. Kenneth) White of Fort Dodge.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 30, 1978, 2 p.m. at the Kastler-Babcock-DeYoung Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Rev. Donald Callen officiated, and burial was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove.
