Mrs. Severt Nervig of Eagle Grove died Sunday, January 8 after being in a coma for several months.
Funeral services were held at Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church, Kenneth R. Torvlk, Pastor, Wednesday at 2 with interment at Rose Hill cemetery.
She was born Martha Rebecca to Thomas and Margaret Larson at Huxley, Iowa, Sept. 12, 1881. In 1900 she moved with her family to Hardy in 1903 to Eagle Grove.
On March 27, 1907 she married Severt Nervig of' Eagle Grove, by Pastor O. R. Sletten. They farmed in Wright county ever since, living on their present Troy township farm for more than 30 years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Harriet, a son Orville, a sister Mrs. Randa Thompson, and a brother Leonard Larson.
Surviving are her husband Severt, a daughter, Margaret of Eagle Grove, two sons, Arthur of Boulder, Colo., and Jerry of Eagle Grove. Five sisters, Mrs. Asta Thompson, Algona, Miss Nellie Larson, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Louise Thompson, Eagle Grove, Miss Nora Larson and Mrs. Hilda Olson, Los Angeles, Calif.; four brothers, Henry, Oscar and Edward of Eagle Grove and Raymond of Renwick, and 3 grandchildren.
