Services for Melissa Louise Rasmussen, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rasmussen, were held at Eyler Funeral Home Wednesday, July 7, in Clarion. Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Meyer conducted the service. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery in Goldfield.

Melissa Louise was born in the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines and died shortly after birth. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Dennis Rasmussen; sister, Angela; brother, Scott; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hoppe, Mrs. Ruth Rasmussen and preceded in death by sister Amy and grandfather, Harold Rasmussen.

Private funeral services were held at Eyler Funeral Home Wednesday, July 7, 1976 at 2:00 p.m. for Melissa Louise Rasmussen, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rasmussen of rural Goldfield. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield.

Dr. Loyd Meyer was in charge of the service.

Born July 3, 1976 the baby died on July 4 at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

Survivors include her parents, one sister, one brother, both at home, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hoppe of Eagle Grove and Paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruth Rasmussen of Goldfield.
