Goldfield Chronicle

Funeral services for George F. McCutcheon, 72, lifelong Goldfield resident, were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Goldfield United Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Kay Mills officiating. Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion Post.

Mr. McCutcheon, a long time Goldfield farmer, was semi-retired at the time of his death, Thursday, April 14, in his home. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and had belonged to the American Legion for 45 years. He was a veteran of World War I. In 1927 he married Nellie Dragoo at Fort Dodge. She survives as do four children, Mrs. Milver Kohout, of Lisbon; Richard of Glendale, Arizona; Howard of Goldfield, and Mrs. John Tiner of Somerville, New Jersey, and 13 grandchildren.
