Jack D. Irelan, 69, of Surprise, Arizona, retired machinist, died July 24, 1998. He was born in Renwick, Iowa, and was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Pat; daughters, Sue McDenis and Nancy Soto; sons, Keith, Larry and David; sisters, Bonita Ross and Artheda Patch; brothers, Richard, Earl and Fred and David; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sunwest Funeral Home, 15399 Grand Ave., El Mirage, with visitation at 2 p.m. Contributions: Sunflower Church, 16501 El Mirage Road, Surprise, AZ 85374.
