He came to Iowa with his parents in April of 1882 and settled on a farm 11 miles northeast of Webster City, where he grew to manhood, living all but 4 1/2 years of his life in Wright county after coming to this state.

On February 22, 1900 he was united in marriage with Lulu Bailey. To this union was born two daughters.

For one year he continued to farm east of Woolstock, then moved to the town of Woolstock for a short time, after moving back to a farm near Blairsburg.

In March 1902, they moved to Clarion, where he lived until 1920. At that time, the family moved to Eagle Grove, where they purchased a home on north Wright avenue and have continued to live there ever since.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Hazel, now Mrs. T. E. Sadler of Clarion, and Eva at home, two grandchildren, Marjorie and Donald Sadler, one brother, Frank Corsair of Osage, and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.

Mr. Corsair had been in fair health during the past year but never complained and went about his work as usual. A few weeks ago, he began to fail rapidly and for a little over a week had been seriously ill. He was taken by ambulance to the Fort Dodge hospital early Tuesday morning but passed away before doctors could come to his aid.

He will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind and loving husband and father and a good neighbor.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Wilson's Chapel, Rev. C. W. Tompkins had charge, and burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.
