Ida Pearl Dingman Blankenship
5 August 1903 ---- 25 February 1965

Ida Blankenship, 61 of Dows, passed away at St. Joseph's Memorial Hospital at Sioux City, Thursday afternoon.

She was born August 5, 1903 in Hamilton County. She was the daughter of George and Lou Eleanor Dingman. On November 24, 1924 [1934] she was married to Lloyd Blankenship in Fairmont, Minnesota.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd and one son, Wayne Goodrich of Lehigh and the following brothers and sisters: Harold Dingman of Lehigh; George Dingman of Whalan, Minnesota; Mrs. Alma Townsand of Fort Dodge; Norma, Mrs. Ott Farrell of Fort Dodge; Ferdelle, Mrs. Dale Wood of Fort Dodge; Vesta, Mrs. Amzie Yoder of Woolstock and Varick Dingman of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services were held Monday at the First Presbyterian Church at Dows. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Wm. O. Niles officiating. The Van Hove Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
