Maurine Agnes Finn Watson
2 August 1893 ---- 22 December 1941

Maurine Agnes Finn Watson was born August 2, 1893, in Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Finn. She graduated from the Clarion high school, and after attending college for a short time came to Eagle Grove to make her home. She had resided here for thirty years.

She was married to Jess S. Watson of this city on Oct. 21, 1914. One daughter, Phyllis Bernadine, was born to this union.

Mrs. Watson died at the age of 48 years, at 11:45 o'clock, Monday, Dec. 22, at her home, after a lengthy illness following a major operation.

She is survived by her daughter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Finn of Clarion, two brothers, Neil Finn of Dolliver, Daniel Finn of Minneapolis, and one sister, Mrs. Dick Lamfer of Courtney, N. Dak.

Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock, Wednesday morning at Sacred Heart church, in charge of Rev. Father Byrne.

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Huntley, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Huntley of Ames; Mrs. Dick Lamfers and daughter Virginia of Courtney, N. Dak.; Miss Mildred Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Meggitt of Iowa City; Mrs. Cecil Watson of Newton; Mrs. Lewis Belik of Fort Dodge; Neil Finn of Dolliver; Daniel Finn of Minneapolis; and Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Finn of Clarion.
