George Ernest Tracy
1 November 1857 ---- 15 February 1937

George Tracy died at his home on North Cadwell Avenue Monday afternoon after a lingering illness.

Obituary

George Tracy was born in Afton, Minn. in November 1857 and died at his home in Eagle Grove, Feb. 15, 1937, at the age of 80 years. He was united in marriage to Miss Rosa Kensert [Kundert] in Stillwater, Minn. To this union were born three children, two of them dying in infancy. One son, Malcom, lives in Minneapolis, Minn. In 1899 they moved to Algona, Iowa, and later to Eagle Grove, in 1909. Mrs. Tracy passed away in 1917. In the year 1919 he was married to Kate Kunsert of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Mr. Tracy leaves to mourn his death his wife and son, Malcom, and other relatives and many friends. He was a kind husband and father and a good citizen.

Funeral services were held in the Kubitschek & Kastler Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock conducted by Rev. J. G. Eaton. The body was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery.
