Goldfield

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Belknap came down from Ceylon last week to attend the funeral of Mr. Oviatt. They remained for a short visit with their daughter, Mrs. B. W. Agard.

Clay Oviatt an old settler of Goldfield died at Worthington, Minn, on Thursday May 9th. He had been a sufferer from cancer for two or three years and a few months ago went to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Frank Little of Worthington.

He leaves to mourn his loss a son, a daughter, four sisters and a host of friends who admired his many good characteristics.

The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at three o'clock at the U. P. church conducted by Rev. W. P. Irvine.
