DeFrances Marie Anderson Peterson
18 May 1886 --- 16 January 1968

Mrs. De Frances Peterson, age 81 of Dows, passed away Tuesday evening at the Midway Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. She had been making her home for the past three years with her son in St. Paul. She was born May 18, 1886 at Mankato, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Charles and Matilda Anderson. She was married to A.J. Peterson, who preceded her in death in 1943.

She is survived by three sons: L.L. Peterson of Saint Paul, MN; Willard Peterson of North Ridge, California; Darwin Peterson, South Pasadena, California; two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Art Olson, Bird Island, Minnesota; Mrs. Ruth Warner, California; Ben Anderson of Fairfax, Minnesota and Hilding Anderson, Minnesota. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday morning at the Van Hove Funeral Chapel at Dows with burial in the Fairview Cemetery at Dows.
