Gladys E. Long Kvindlog
13 October 1904 ---- 17 September 1935

Gladys Long Kvindlog, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer M. Long well know farmers of east of Eagle Grove, passed away early, in the morning of September 17th. She was not considered seriously ill, although she has been suffering from asthma, but upon awakening, her husband, Eldo L. Kvindlog, found that she had passed away some time during the night.

Gladys was born at Naperville, Ill., on Oct. 13, 1904 and at the time of her passing was 30 years, 11 months, and 4 days of age. She moved to Wright county with her parents in 1907 and grew to womanhood on the farm east of Eagle Grove. After finishing the country school, she spent her time in the home, being a very close and constant companion of her mother.

On Dec. 6, 1922 she was married to Eldo L. Kvindlog. To this union was born one son, Donald, at present three years of age. Since their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Kvindlog have been working on the farm, having spent the past several years on the John Walker farm, south of Eagle Grove.

Besides the husband and little son, there remains the father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Long, one brother, Russell, all of Eagle Grove, and one grandfather, Walter Rice of Naperville, Ill. besides many other relatives and a large circle of friends to mourn her going.

Gladys was of a congenial disposition, making many friends, and was especially devoted to her home. She had a great deal of pleasure in drawing, painting, and playing the piano. In the community, she was active in the P. T. A. of Troy. No. 2. –

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Wilson Funeral Chapel at 2:00 o'clock, with the Rev. A. S. Kilbourn in charge. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
