Lena M. Darling Snowden
26 January 1863 ---- 28 January 1935

Mrs. Lena Darling Snowden died in Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City, Monday, following an operation for the relief of ulcer trouble.

Lena Darling was born at Palmyra, Wisconsin, Jan. 26, 1863, being 72 years and two days of age at the time of her death. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Snowden Berry of Charles City and Mrs. Madge Snowden White of Storm Lake. One nephew and one niece reside here, Paul D. and Ollie Cowan.

Funeral services were held at the Wilson Funeral Chapel Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Albert S. Kilbourn in charge. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Snowden made her home here until about five years ago when she moved to Charles City. She has many friends and acquaintances who regret her passing and extend to the surviving relatives their sincere sympathy.
