Beverly Sunken, age 75, of Iowa Falls, died on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Zearing Health Care Center in Zearing. Funeral services are 10: 30 AM Thursday June 27, 2013 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with burial at Friends Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Beverly Jane Sunken was born on December 24, 1937 in Austinville, Iowa to Fred and Elizabeth (Kole) Timmer. Beverly graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1957. On February 2, 1957, she was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Sunken in the First United Methodist Church in Eldora. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls and the Lutheran Quilters. Beverly is survived by her children Kevin (Kris) Sunken of Crete, NE and their family Kyle (Rhonda) Sunken and children Braeden and Remy, Kelly (Matt) Mittan and their children Tyler and Beau and Kaylene (Bill) Finney and their children Cooper and Bryson all of Lincoln, NE; David (Melody) Sunken of Indianola and their daughter Chelsea; Danny (Laurie) Sunken of Tyler, TX and their son Brandon (Mindy) Gehrke of Iowa Falls and their daughter Quinn; Diane (Stan) Kulow of Hubbard and their family Nicki (Leigh) Jass and children Jadyn, Tate and another child on the way all of Belmond and Keith (Jen) Kulow of Buckeye; four siblings Sandra (Dean) Bennett of Iowa Falls, Janella Reece of Ackley, Mark (Carol) Timmer of Vinton and Rachel Allspach of Iowa Falls and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Jerry.
