Attended Uncle’s Funeral.
Herman Tavener arrived home from Nebraska Saturday night where he was called on account of the death of his uncle Len Tavener. While there he went to Clearwater, where he saw Jule and George Fannon both old Decorah boys. Both are doing well. Jule is the postmaster and George is in business.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Leonard who was born July 26, 1866 and died Apr. 11, 1914. He is buried in the Oakdale Cemetery in Oakdale, NB.
