Knut Barlow came over from Decorah Tuesday to attend the funeral of his sister Mrs. Iver Barlow.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral of Mrs. Iver Barlow weer(sic) Miss Petra Dahl of Valparaiso, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Martin Dahl of St. Paul, Miss Lena Barlow of Decorah and Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Nelson of Charles City.

Saturday evening at her home in this city, Mrs. Iver Barlow passed away after a lingering illness of about two months. Besides her husband and two little girls, Esther and Palma, she also leaves a number of brothers and sisters to mourn her death. She was a woman who was very much loved and admired by all who knew her and the bereaved ones have the sympathy of the entire community. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon, with interment in the Norwegian cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Dora who was born Aug. 4, 1872 and died Apr. 14, 1914. She is buried in the Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
