Aged Lady Passes Away.
Mrs. Gunhild Olson Anderson died Sunday morning last at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. E. Hanson, where she has made her home for some time. The deceased was born in 1830 at Sigdal, Norway, and came to America in 1848, residing in Blue Mound, Wis. She was married in 1854 at Spring Green to Hove Anderson. Mr. Anderson died twenty-nine years ago and Mrs. Anderson came to Decorah about twelve years ago. Beside the daughter above mentioned, she is survived by the following children, Mrs. A. J. Traaserud and Mrs. Simon VIkesland of Decorah, Mrs. G. S. Hanson of Canton, S. D., and Mrs. Frank Ertle of Bellingham, Wash. Funeral service was held Tuesday morning, Rev. O. E. Schmidt officiating. The remains were taken to Spring Green and interment made in the N. E. L. churchyard at Big Hollow.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born June 17, 1830 and died Nov. 30, 1913. She is buried in the Big Hollow Cemetery in Spring Green, WI.
