Mr. and Mrs. Mikesh of Decorah attended the funeral of the latter’s mother Mrs. Owens on Monday.

Mrs. Owens died at her home Saturday after a prolonged illness. The funeral occurred Monday at 9 o’clock t the St. Francis Catholic church, Rev. Thiltgen officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Catherine and that she was born Sept. 23, 1850 and died Oct. 4, 1913.
