OBITUARY.
Mrs. Josephine H. Larson, wife of Ole Larson, the carpenter, died on Friday last, the tenth, after an illness of three years. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at two o’clock, Rev. O. E. Schmidt officiating, and interment was made in the Norwegian cemetery.
Mrs. Larson’s maiden name was Josephine Hulverson. She was born October 8, 1864, in Springfield township, and was married to Ole Larson in August, 1897. Beside her husband she is survived by two daughters, Louise and Florence, one brother, Elias, and two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Meyrick and Miss Emma Hulverson. The deceased was a devoted wife and mother, and in her daily life exemplified her belief in the life hereafter by steadfast adherence to the doctrines of the Lutheran church of which she had been a memebr{sic} from girlhood.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery. It also shows her maiden name was spelled Halvorson.
