Word was received Monday morning of the death of Mrs. Chas. Keune. She suffered a stroke of paralysis.

Mrs. Amanda Keune Steadfold and her daughter Ethel came from Minneapolis the 3rd of this month to be present at the bedside of her mother, who died the 6th. Mr. Steadfold came Thursday evening to attend the funeral the 10th. Mr. and Mrs. Claud Norton came from near Hoisington, Kansas, to attend the funeral of Mrs. N’s mother, that of Mrs. Margaret Keune. She leaves an aged mother, two sons, four daughter, two brothers and three sisters, ebsides{sic} a host of friends to mourn her loss. Mrs. Keune’s remains were laid to rest in the Phelps cemetery at Decorah. Mrs. Norton will be better remembered as Minnie Keune.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Maggie. She was born Aug. 2, 1859.
