Kenneth Engbretson, born June 20, 1937 to Elmer and Eva, passed away peacefully on Oct. 20, 2023.

Kenneth graduated from Decorah High School in 1955, where he placed 8th in a State Wrestling Championship. He later married Dorothy Hovden and had two children, Randy and Renee. They later divorced.

He farmed for several years before moving to Cedar Rapids. He worked for LinkBelt Speeder/FMC for twenty years then for Rockwell/Goss for ten years, taking an early retirement enjoying many years at his cabin in Richmond, Minnesota on Horseshoe Lake that he purchased with his sister Margaret (Virgil). He enjoyed fishing, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Minnesota Vikings, and quality time with his family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, his daughter Renee, sisters Helen and Margaret, and half brother Tom.

He is survived by his son; Randy, brothers; Bob, Richard, and Lyle, Grandsons; Kenneth (Sarah) and John (Chantelle), several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
