The remains of Mrs. Margaret Bennett were brought here Saturday from Cedar Rapids, where she died after six years of illness. The funeral services took place on Monday at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic church at 10 o’clock. Rev. Thiltgen officiating. Mrs. Bennett was a daughter of Mrs. Kobriger, who with daughters and sons mourn her loss.

Mrs. J. H. Kneeskern received a telegram last Friday saying that her sister, Mrs. Maggie Bennett of Cedar Rapids, had returned with the body to Ossian, where the funeral was held from the Catholic church Monday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Nov. 20, 1854; however, it shows her date of death as Jan. 19. 1911 (which is also reflected on her gravestone) instead of 1912, which is obviously an error
