H. Lomen Dies On City Street

Henry E. Lomen, 83, of the Aase Haugen home at Decorah was stricken by a heart attack as he was walking with a friend on Water street in Decorah, Monday afternoon, November 13. Mr. Lomen collasped in front of the Larsen clothing store and died within a few minutes.

Funeral services will be held at the Steine funeral home in Decorah and at the Washington Prairie Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Washington Prairie Lutheran cemetery.

Henry Lomen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Erik E Lomen was born in Winnesheik county on September 16, 1867. He was married to Miss Anna Woldt and the couple farmed for many years near Washington Prairie. His wife preceded him in death six years ago. He lived at the Aase Haugen home for the past three years.

He is survived by one brother, Gustav of Cedar Falls.
