The following obituary is from the Ottumwa Courier dated October 11, 1984.
[Headline] Goldie Jamison
"Goldie M. Jamison, 78, of 2002 Bertha St. died at 8:58 p.m. October 11, 1984, at Ottumwa Hospital.
She was born Sept. 10, 1906, in Missouri to Leander and Bernetta Ray Brookhart. She married Homer W. Jamison in Kansas City, Mo. He died in 1979.
She is survived by three sons, Everett Montgomery, Jr. of Kirkville, Lloyd Montgomery of Cypress, Calif., and William Montgomery of Ottumwa; two daughters Martha Trollope of Leighton and Barbara Saner of Mineral Wells, Texas; two stepdaughters, Helen Ward of Rock Island, Ill., and Lila Wilkins of Kansas City, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; and a sister Ida Thomas of Tacna, Ariz. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles.
The services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Stephen Heckart of the East End Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery at Graysville, Mo.
Paulbearers are Kirk Montgomery, and Everett Montgomery, Jr., Tommy Weeks, Charles Weeks Jr., and Ronnie and Clarence Jones."
NOTE: There is a Everett Montgomery listed in the local phone book. Contact me privately and I will give you his address. I can find none of the Montgomery names listed above in any of the cemeteries of Ottumwa
