My grandmother, Clara Bailey Whitney, taught school in Wapello County Iowa prior to her marriage to Hubert Wood Whitney in 1889: She lived in the Agency Area-Washington twnshp or a surrounding twnshp. Does anyone know where I might find old county school records that might tell me where she taught. I have a query in to the Ottumwa Public Library, but so far no response. Thanks you, JoAnn
