My name is Dennis Jacks. My father and Grandfather were both named Earl Jacks…my father’s middle name being Junior. I believe my grandfather was a resident of Ottumwa at least during the 1920’s through 1950’s before his death. His second wife’s name was Daisy.
I have found reference to a Captain Jacques who settled in Ottumwa during the 1860’s and his son Jo Jacques, who shared a law practice in Ottumwa on the 1890’s. I do not know if these families have any relationships or not to the current Jacks name.
I am seeking any information which might be available concerning my family, it tree, and/or any other data you may have. Please let me know if you can offer and appreciated assistance.
