I sent all the census info to Aimee a few days ago. I don't know why such an age difference. Maybe they didn't speak very good english.

I know in the WPA book L-Z, it has my my Lanigan family under Mangon, Mangin, and Dannigan.Lucky for me that I did know dates of death as that is how I figured it out.

In the church records it was spelled Lannigan and in 1920 census it was also spelled Lannigan.

The 1860 census also has my Lanigan as Larrigan, 1870 had it spelled Lanegan and the 1880 had it spelled Lanagare.

I really had difficulty finding census info for us. In the 1880 census, I was only able to find it by searching a neighbor that was a good friend of my grandfather. (Joseph Blunk); then I went to next household and there they were. On their tombstones, it is spelled Lanigan. I have seen the name Murphy under Murray before also. Thanks Bill for helping us out.
