It is interesting to note that Anna Lanigan and her husband Wilber Moon moved to Ottumwa and lived in Center TWP in same vacinity as my John Lanigan. (my g. grandfather) That is why I thought she could be a relative of mine. I found Anna with her husband Wilber in 1930 census and Anna said she was born in Iowa and her father was born in Pa. I am not sure if we are related now as my John Lanigan came to live first in New York; Irish imigrant 1857 where first child Sarah was born. After that time zone, they moved to Jefferson County prior to 1870 and are in the 1870 census of Wapello County Iowa.
