1867 Ottumwa marriage of Elizabeth Alexander to John Jones

Elizabeth Tullis Alexander widow of John Jameson Alexander allegedly married John Jones in Ottumwa, Iowa on January 20, 1867. I am trying to secure information to verify that fact.

Their child Albert Jones born in late 1867 is thought to have died in Wapello County between 1870 & 1880. Would like to secure birth record and death record.
