This is a long shot, but possibly you can help us locate the gravesite of my husband's paternal grandmother. Her name was Ana (Anna, Jana) Matkovic, maiden name Bakic, and she died at the Sunnyslope Sanitarium in Ottumwa, IA, in February 1923. At the time of her death she was separated from her husband Josip (Joseph) Matkovic, and she POSSIBLY was going under the last name of "Guiterez" (not sure of the spelling there).

Old information we have says she was buried at the "Sunnyslope Cemetery" but I can't find any record of that cemetery in Ottumwa. Do you have any idea where sanitarium inmates were buried if they had no family or funds?
